...and waiting...and waiting...and waiting...and...

...you get the picture. We're just waiting for them to finish processing Noe's visa and give him back his passport!!! I'm so mad at the embassy for holding up his case at the very last step, after they'd told us we'd have the passport back in a week! (It's now been 3 and a half weeks) I heard someone got theirs after a month...

Anyway, to keep my mind off not-being-with-noe, I've been working the three jobs. Unfortunately my favorite one, at Woodin Elementary, is going to end tomorrow! We've been doing lots of report card and testing stuff. I'm sad to say goodbye to the two girls I've worked with most :( But I promised I'd take Noe in to meet Patty when he finally gets here. I may sub in the fall before the UW classes start...

So I finally registered for the UW and got grants to cover double the tuition! I'm excited, after so much worrying that classes were full (I got add codes), it looks like everything has worked out just how I planned.

I've been working out a whole bunch -- rode to GasWorks and have worked-out 14 times already this month (and it's only the 20th)!

Noe got one of Fani's kittens! He named it Gretel. Apparently it's grey and black striped. It climbs up his mosquito net and sleeps on top in the night! Otherwise he's been working in Pedro's corn field -- planting and fertilizing. The corn talks are now about 15 cm (6") tall. Speaking of vegetables...I've gotten two boxes of veggies already from Jubilee Farm in Carnation through their Community Supported Agriculture program (www.jubileefarm.org). Organic, fresh, and local!

Take care
