El día de los muertos en Luta
Today we decorated sugar skulls, calaveras de azúcar, just like last year. The students love this activity. All of the skulls are shown in the picture here.
Last night I had a Halloween party at the apartment - 8 of us hung out, ate candy, and laughed at Phil's "Miss New Zealand" red dress outfit! The house was fully decorated with tissue paper and spider webs, even a toilet paper roll bar that screams when you pull on TP. Not to mention the bloody shower curtain!
Noé will be arriving on Rota in 5 days, and these are the weirdest five days. We have school only on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (due to two holidays), and since he flies in on Friday, I have that day off, too. Not sure what to do with all this extra time...I guess I could take down all those Halloween decorations...
